As combines roll across the fields and grain bins fill up, it’s hard not to feel a sense of pride and gratitude for the hardworking farmers who keep our rural communities thriving. Harvest season is more than just the culmination of a year’s work—it’s a reminder of the dedication, endurance, and faith that define agriculture in Northwest Illinois.
Last week, our Citizens State Bank Ag Team spent time out in the field hosting harvest lunches at several local grain bins. It was our way of saying thank you to the men and women who spend countless hours ensuring a successful harvest for all. Sharing a meal, swapping stories, and seeing familiar faces reminded us why we’re proud to serve our ag community every day.
