Fair Season is Here
When you are ranked as a Top 20 Ag Lender for 2024 by the Illinois Community Bankers Association (see here), fair season is a BIG deal. We strive to be present and involved in the county and community fairs across our entire territory. As your local community bank, it is important for us to celebrate the next generation’s accomplishments that are also displayed at these community events. From photography projects, to garden harvests, livestock shows, and everything in between.
Many of our employees have personal connection to the local 4-H and FFA chapters as alumni, parents of children involved, or general supporters of their community’s organizations. Our very own Melinda Merboth is a leader for the Carrol County Kids 4-H Club out of Mt. Carroll, IL.

Elizabeth Fair, July 19th through the 21st
- Float in the Fair Parade on Saturday the 19th at 11 a.m.
- Sponsor of the Beef Association lunch
Stephenson County Fair, July 23rd through the 27th
- Volunteering at Beef Corral on Friday, the 26th
Jo Daviess County Fair, August 1st through the 4th
Carroll County Fair, August 6th through the 10th
- Serving Ice Cream all day on Friday, the 9th
